    1. Here is some of the information you just read about in the    lesson. See if you can remember what you read. Work in pairs. Note down the answers from your memory and then read the lesson again to check if they are correct.


(a) What is the full form of ICT?
Ans:-  The full form of ICT is Information and Communication Technology.
(b) What are the uses of a computer?
 Ans:- We can use the computer for drawing, calculate, play online games, designing, compose, edit, download and save images or audio-video materials etc.
(c) What do children learn in the computer lab?
Ans:- The children are learning in the computer lab about ICT and their tools like mobile and computer and their uses, or the senior are also learning about hardware and software components of a computer.
(d) Why do people depend on technology?
Ans:- Technology has become an essential accessory in our everyday lives, so much that we humans depend on it. We use technology for entertainment, educational and for work purposes. Because it is very easy to use and give us an opportunity to get a right and authentic information.
(e) What are some uses of ICT? (You can think of at least five uses.)
Ans:- There have some uses of ICT are -
• To broadcast material, online facility or CD-ROM can be used as sources of information in different subjects.
• To facilitate communication for pupils with special needs
• To use electronic toys to develop spatial awareness and psycho-motor control
• To use the online resource like, email, Chat, discussion forum to support collaborative writing and sharing of information.
• To carry out internet-based research to enhance, educational process.
