The Mountain and The Squirrel

2. Read the poem once again and answer the
following questions:
(a) Why did the mountain call the squirrel
"Little prig"?
Answer: The squirrel’s size is very small and prig means
thief. A squirrel always stole things from the trees or other something ales
and eat. That’s why the mountain calls the squirrel "Little prig".
(b) What did the squirrel say to the mountain?
Answer: The squirrel says so many things but the main
thing he says to the mountain that doubtless that the mountain is very big. But
he is not also disgrace that he is small. He is happy in his place.
(c) What are
the main differences between the mountain and the squirrel?
Answer:
The main differences between the mountain and the squirrel given below:
Ø The mountain is very big but the squirrel so small.
Ø The squirrel is so spry but the mountain is not
spry.
Ø The squirrel cannot carry forest on his back but
the mountain also cannot crack a nut.
(d) "If I'm not so large as you,
You are not so small as I,
And not half so spry:
I'll not deny you make
A very pretty squirrel track."
