Unity in diversity:
Our India is diverse in religion, culture, dress etc. It is home to people of various religions including Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism and Jainism. We also have differences in eating habits as the products produced vary from region to region. For example, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh etc. produce abundant wheat. Therefore, the staple food of his people is bread. Rice is the main food of the people of Orissa, Assam, West Bengal etc. due to the abundant production of paddy. Our country has people who speak different languages. There are more than 250 languages and dialects. Of these, 22 languages are recognized by the Constitution. People of different languages, religions and social customs live in harmony and cooperation despite some social differences. We respect and honor all languages, cultures and religions equally despite their differences. Therefore, India is a meeting place for all. This union is a union of race, language and culture. Therefore, the main characteristic of Indian culture is 'unity in differences'
(বৈচিত্ৰ্যৰ মাজত ঐক্য/ অনৈক্যৰ মাজত ঐক্য: আমাৰ ভাৰতবৰ্ষ ধৰ্ম, সংস্কৃতি, সাজ-পোছাক আদিৰ ক্ষেত্ৰত বৈচিত্ৰময়।ইয়াত হিন্দু, ইছলাম, শিখ, খ্ৰীষ্টান, বৌদ্ধ আৰু জৈন ধৰ্মকে ধৰি বিভিন্ন ধৰ্মৰ লোকে বাস কৰে। আমাৰ খাদ্যাভ্যাসৰ ক্ষেত্ৰতো পাৰ্থক্য আছে কাৰণ অঞ্চলভেদে উৎপাদিত সামগ্ৰী বেলেগ বেলেগ। যেনে পঞ্জাৱ, হাৰিয়ানা, উত্তৰ প্ৰদেশ আদিত প্ৰচুৰ পৰিমাণে ঘেঁহু উৎপাদন হয়। সেয়েহে তেওঁৰ লোকসকলৰ প্ৰধান খাদ্য হৈছে ৰুটি। ধানৰ প্ৰচুৰ উৎপাদনৰ বাবে উৰিষ্যা, অসম, পশ্চিমবংগ আদিবাসীৰ প্ৰধান খাদ্য ভাত। আমাৰ দেশত বিভিন্ন ভাষা কোৱা মানুহ আছে। ২৫০ টাতকৈও অধিক ভাষা আৰু উপভাষা আছে। ইয়াৰে ২২টা ভাষা সংবিধানৰ দ্বাৰা স্বীকৃতিপ্ৰাপ্ত। বিভিন্ন ভাষা, ধৰ্ম, সামাজিক ৰীতি-নীতিৰ লোকসকলে কিছু সামাজিক পাৰ্থক্যৰ মাজতো সম্প্ৰীতি আৰু সহযোগিতাৰে জীৱন নিৰ্বাহ কৰে। আমি সকলো ভাষা, সংস্কৃতি আৰু ধৰ্মৰ পাৰ্থক্য থাকিলেও সমানে সন্মান আৰু সন্মান কৰো। সেয়ে ভাৰতবৰ্ষ সকলোৰে মিলনস্থলী। এই সংঘ হৈছে জাতি-ভাষা-সংস্কৃতিৰ সংঘ। গতিকে ভাৰতীয় সংস্কৃতিৰ মূল বৈশিষ্ট্য হ’ল ‘অনৈক্যৰ মাজত ঐক্য')
